Here are some pictures from our trip to the Bullard family reunion in Waterton Lakes National Park, which is the Canadian side of Glacier National Park. We flew to Seattle and then drove with the Gallaghers to Waterton, camping on the way and on the return to Seattle.

Eastern Washington

Picnic in Eastern Washington on the first day.

After driving through the lush forests and mountains of the Cascasdes, Eastern Washington seemed like a desert. It was very windy and we could see for miles around (see following photo). Here we are with the Gallaghers: Uncle Pete, Aunt Liz, Sean, Claire, and Hannah. Aunt Liz had prepared a huge cooler full of tasty food.

Flathead Lake, Montana

We camped for two nights, visiting a bison reserve and other spots during the day. We also fished, took Hannah's raft out on the lake, and did a bit of swimming (the kids at least). It was cold water ! Here's JP fishing from the dock. Not much luck, but it was a beautiful day.

Sam takes a morning stroll by the lake.

On to the bison reserve. JP and Sean take a break and look at the huge pile of Elk antlers. The elk loose their antlers every year and grow them back, so they pile up quickly.

We drove past a herd of bison on the reserve right next to the road. In fact, they crossed the road in front of us and held up a group of cars for a while.
